This has continued to present with Serbia being the successor state to Yugoslavia.Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) was one of the first European countries to recognize Bangladesh on 22 January 1972. Consulate of Republic of Serbia in Dhaka is presenting the government of the Serbia in Dhaka. It has been working to develop bilateral cooperation between Bangladesh and Serbia.
