Prof. Dr. S. M. G. Kibria is a renowned British Consultant Surgeon who has more than 34 years of experience in the field of General, Laparoscopic and Vascular Surgery in England. He graduated from Dhaka Medical College. He is one of the few surgeons in this subcontinent who obtained four FRCS degrees and also obtained his MSc (Research) degree in 2004 from The University of Leeds, England.

After completing internship he went to England and worked for more than 34 years which includes 12 years as Full Time Consultant, General and Vascular Surgeon. He had been a Senior Clinical Tutor in the School of Clinical Medicine at Cambridge University School of Medicine. He is also an Examiner of the Surgical Royal Colleges, UK.

He has special expertise in all kinds of operation which includes vascular and endovascular surgery, general surgery, gastrointestinal, endocrine, breast surgery, laparoscopic surgeries. He has several research and publications and he presented several scientific papers in number of international conferences.

Prior to joining us, he worked at the Labaid Hospitals, Dhaka as Senior Consultant- General, Laparoscopic and Vascular Surgeon since December 2018. In 2014, he joined at Apollo Hospitals Dhaka as Senior Consultant- General, Laparoscopic and Head of the Department of Vascular Surgery.

He is an Adjunct Associate Professor North South University & also Visiting Professor Dhaka Community Medical College & Hospital.
