The Embassy of the United States of America in Dhaka is the diplomatic mission of the United States in Bangladesh. Immigrant visas to the United States are processed for citizens and residents of Bangladesh at the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka.
To apply for an immigrant visa, a foreign citizen seeking to immigrate generally must be sponsored by a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident immediate relative(s), or prospective U.S. employer, and have an approved petition before applying for an immigrant visa. The sponsor begins the process by filing a petition on the foreign citizen’s behalf with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Then, follow the steps on the Immigrant Visa Process on usvisas.state.gov to begin applying for an immigrant visa.

COVID-19 Testing for Travel to the US
Effective January 26, 2021 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will require all air passengers entering the United States to present a negative COVID-19 test, taken within 72 hours of departure. Airlines must confirm the negative test result for all passengers before boarding. Airlines must deny boarding of passengers if they do not provide documentation of a negative test or recovery. This requirement is separate from the visa application process.

বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক ও বাসিন্দাদের জন্য যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ইমিগ্র্যান্ট ভিসা কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন করা হয় ঢাকায় অবস্থিত যুক্তরাষ্ট্র দূতাবাস থেকে।
কোনো বিদেশি নাগরিককে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ইমিগ্র্যান্ট ভিসার আবেদন করতে হলে সাধারণত তাকে অবশ্যই যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের নাগরিক বা বৈধ স্থায়ী নাগরিক এমন ঘনিষ্ঠ আত্মীয় কিংবা যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের সম্ভাব্য নিয়োগকর্তার স্পনসর পেতে হয়। ইমিগ্র্যান্ট ভিসার জন্য আবেদনের পূর্বে তার পিটিশন অনুমোদিত হতে হবে। সংশ্লিষ্ট বিদেশি নাগরিকের পক্ষে তার স্পনসর ইউএস সিটিজেনশিপ অ্যান্ড ইমিগ্রেশন সার্ভিসেসে (ইউএসসিআইএস) পিটিশন পূরণ করার মধ্য দিয়ে এই প্রক্রিয়া শুরু করবে। আপনি চাইলে ঠিকানায় আমাদের ভিসার শ্রেণি বিষয়ক নির্দেশিকা দেখে ইমিগ্র্যান্ট ভিসার বিভিন্ন ধরন সম্পর্কে জানতে পারবেন। তারপর ঠিকানায় ইমিগ্র্যান্ট ভিসা প্রক্রিয়া অপশনে ঢুকে নির্দেশিত ধাপগুলো অনুসরণ করে ইমিগ্র্যান্ট ভিসার আবেদন শুরু করতে পারেন।

রোগ নিয়ন্ত্রণ ও প্রতিরোধ কেন্দ্রগুলি (সিডিসি) যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে প্রবেশকারী সমস্ত বিমান যাত্রীদের প্রস্থানের ৭২ ঘন্টার মধ্যে নেওয়া একটি নেগেটিভ কোভিড-১৯ পরীক্ষা (SARS-CoV-2 এর জন্য জাতীয় কর্তৃপক্ষ কর্তৃক অনুমোদিত একটি ভাইরাল সনাক্তকরণ পরীক্ষা) উপস্থাপন করতে হবে যা ২৬ শে জানুয়ারি ২০২১ থেকে কার্যকর। যাত্রা শুরুর পূর্বে অবশ্যই সমস্ত যাত্রীদের নেগেটিভ পরীক্ষার ফলাফল বিমান সংস্থার নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।যদি যাত্রীরা কোনও নেগেটিভ পরীক্ষা বাসুস্থতার ডকুমেন্টেশন প্রদান না করে তবে বিমান সংস্থা যাত্রীদের যাত্রা প্রত্যাখ্যান করবে।এই প্রয়োজনীয়তা ভিসা আবেদন প্রক্রিয়া থেকে পৃথক।
